Medical Gas Systems – HTM

All Medical Gas Pipeline installations are carried out to HTM 02-01 Standards & Guidelines, with a full range of test criteria met and reported on, along with all necessary signed documentation and O&M Manuals provided upon completion. This aids our clients in ensuring all Medical Gas Pipeline installations align with increasing legislative requirements.

Medical Gas – NFPA

The National Fire Protection Association, or NFPA, has set a standard for health care compliance rules and regulations. Any time a facility is considering installing gas for use in an establishment, there are codes facility managers must follow and safety measures to be taken in order to provide a safe environment.

NFPA 99 establishes all of the criteria to be met for various levels of medical establishments in order to provide a safe environment for the medical teams, patients, and any structure or persons in the surrounding area. Using medical gas in the wrong fashion can create serious consequences, even the possibility of fires and explosions.

Pendant & Patient lift

Ceiling pendants are designed for supply of medical gases, electric current and low current from the ceiling to the workplace of the medical specialists. They are primarily used in operating theatres, ARD, and ICU. The rotary pendant is terminated by a source column and a removable shelf is applied as a holder of medical devices. Rotary joints combined with a horizontal and swing arm can be controlled to any intermediate position within a room using an electric drive. All the rotary joints of the arms are thereby fitted with manually operated position interlock.

Oxygen and suction therapy

A suction regulator is a medical device that converts the high-pressure vacuum that is supplied by the Hospitals central vacuum system to a safe level for use on a patient.

Medical gas flowmeter is a medical device for oxygen or medical air inhalation of first-aid and hypoxic patients in the hospital, including oxygen flowmeter, and medical air flowmeter.Oxygen flowmeter is mainly used to regulate the flow of oxygen, oxygen humidification.

Surgical & medical lights

A surgical light – also referred to as an operating light or surgical lighthead – is a medical device intended to assist medical personnel during a surgical procedure by illuminating a local area or cavity of the patient. A combination of several surgical lights is often referred to as a “surgical light system”.

Nurse Call Systems

A nurse call system is a communication system placed in medical facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics allowing patients in need of assistance to call for help with the push of a button, conveniently placed at the patient side.

Radiation protection

Radiation protection is a term applied to concepts, requirements, technologies and operations related to protection of people (radiation workers, members of the public, and patients undergoing radiation diagnosis and therapy) against the harmful effects of ionising radiation.
